LEWISTON – Raymond G. “Peanut” Rodrigue, 79, of 312 Russell St., Lewiston, died Thursday, June 5, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, where he resided for the past four years.
Born in Lewiston on Sept. 20, 1928, a son of the late Joseph B. and Amanda Anger Rodrigue, he was educated in Lewiston schools.
He was married to the former Constance Vachon, who died on April 28, 2005.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish.
He worked as a pressman for 46 years at the Sun-Journal, retiring in 1990.
He was an avid bowler and loved to watch sports. Ray will be remembered for his outgoing, quiet nature and love of family.
He is survived by his daughters, Jeanne and Diane Rodrigue of Lewiston; his sister, Fernande Nadeau of Anson; and his brother, Paul E. Rodrigue of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Claudette Rodrigue, in 2006.
