WALES – Announcement is made of the engagement of Samantha Mason and Scott Dimmick, both of Wales.

Miss Mason is the daughter of the late Muriel R. (Goding) Mason and the late Richard E. Mason of Wales. She is a 2004 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently seeking a teaching position.

Mr. Dimmick is the son of the late Marsha (Dill) Verhille of Gardiner. He is also the son of Kenneth Dimmick and stepson of Sara Dimmick of Augusta. He is a 1997 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and is currently employed as a master plumber and journeyman oil burner technician at Dead River in Hallowell.

A small ceremony and reception will be held in early August, after which the couple will honeymoon in Niagara Falls.
