GORHAM, N.H. – The Bikes Not Bombs project has returned to the area.
The partnership of the Gorham, Randolph and Shelburne Middle School and Pathways for Thursday’s Child Ltd., Healing Arts Center and Gift Shop are joined this year by the middle and high school students of the Cascade Academy of Berlin.
During the summer, unused bikes, outgrown bikes or bike parts may be dropped off at Pathways.
The project has collected better than 20 bikes.
The bikes are refurbished and shipped to various areas of the world as needed.
Bikes Not Bombs has recycled over 33,000 bikes in the last 24 years.
In addition, the organization operates training programs nationally and internationally.
Bikes Not Bombs asks for a $10 donation with each bike.
