AUBURN – Jim Byrne will join World Harbors Inc., headquartered in Auburn, as vice president of sales and business development on June 16.

Byrne brings 30 years of experience in the food industry to the position, most recently as the regional director-business manager for Dare Foods Inc., where he built a strong sales foundation and successfully launched new products. His responsibilities at World Harbors will include sourcing new sales opportunities, developing and managing the strategic plans to capitalize on those opportunities, as well as coordinating the efforts of marketing and sales.
