CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -Women soon can start signing up for a chance to learn outdoor skills from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and New Hampshire Wildlife Federation.

Signup starts Monday for the popular Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop planned for Sept. 5-7 in Holderness. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $295, which includes lodging, meals, instruction and equipment.

Women choose from among 30 course offerings, including archery, fly fishing, hiking, canoeing, handling firearms, outdoor survival, kayaking and campfire cooking.
