Raymond – Raymond E. Wetzel, Jr., 47, of Orchard Estate Road, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at his home. Born in Portsmouth, N.H., he was a son of Raymond E. Wetzel, Sr. and Virginia L. Dame Wetzel and attended Eliot, Maine schools.
Mr. Wetzel was a licensed welder in the Greater Portland area as well as in Raymond. He was also a well-known, accomplished heavy equipment operator. He also owned and operated a working barge on Sebago Lake for dock repair, pilings and boat salvage. He enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.
Surviving him are his wife, Donna Hildreth of Raymond; his parents of Stratham, N.H.; a son, David Trueworthy and his wife, Michele, of Portland; a daughter, LeeAnn Trueworthy , and grandson, Damon, the pride and joy of Raymond’s life, of Westbrook; brothers Rick Wetzel and his wife, Shari, their son, Kyle, and daughter, Amanda, of Eliot and Randy Wetzel and his wife, Lani, and their son, Joshua, of Stratham, N.H.; his sister, Terri Wetzel of Salt Lake City, Utah and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
