FARMINGTON – The largest showing of antique tractors in New England will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 27, 28 and 29, at the Farmington Fairgrounds.

The 13th annual Antique Tractor Festival of the Maine Antique Tractor Club will feature John Deere tractors and implements. The event attracts hundreds of antique farm tractors along with implements, construction machinery, lawn and garden tractors and antique engines.

There will be antique tractor pulling, lawn and garden tractor pulling, doodlebug pulling, tractor games and pedal tractor pulling for kids. Other features will include a tractor parade, machinery demonstrations, flea market, swap meet, tractor parts vendors, food vendors and Maine crafters. On-site camping with hook-ups will be available by reservation.

A restored John Deere Model L tractor will be raffled as part of the festival. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday at noon. The 2007 festival attracted visitors from 22 states, five Canadian provinces, England and the Netherlands.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. each day and admission will be $5 for adults, $2 for ages 11 to 17, and free for ages 10 and under.
