LEWISTON – Diane L. Muise, 59, went home to be with the Lord and Saviour on Monday, June 9.

On May 15, 1949, Diane Lois Branyon was born to the late Rev. Elmer Lee and Lutrelle (Patterson) Branyon in Commerce, Ga. She was a graduate of Madison County High School in Danielsville, Ga.

On May 17, 1975, she married the love of her life, Leo G.J. Muise.

Diane was a professional gospel singer, traveling extensively on the East Coast from Prince Edward Island, Canada, to the Florida Keys and as far west as Illinois. Many were blessed and touched by her songs and storytelling in concert.

Besides her husband, Leo, of Auburn, she is survived by one daughter, Linda Muise of Auburn; three sons, David Muise of Costa Rica, Michael Muise of Auburn, and Marc Muise of Tampa, Fla.; two granddaughters, Christina and Morgan Kirk of Auburn; two sisters, Donna Woodson and her husband, Marvin, of Mesquite, Texas, and Denise Smith and her husband, Jerry, of Greene; one brother, Jonathan Branyon and his wife, Pamela, of Greenwood, S.C.

Also surviving are nieces, nephews, grandnieces, a grandnephew, and many aunts and cousins.

She was loved and will be missed by all.
