AUBURN – Funeral services celebrating the life of Grace Louise Legere were held Tuesday at East Auburn Baptist Church following prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Cousineau officiated the service and recited committal prayers at North Auburn Cemetery. The service opened with Scripture and Prayer by Pastor Roger Cousineau.
Reflections of Grace’s life were expressed by Pastor Roger and his wife Barb Cousineau. A video tribute of Grace’s short life was played during the service. The songs “Blessed be the Name,” “I Need thee Every Hour” and “Hello Goodbye” were sung by the worship team. Dr. Bob Frederich read scripture and prayer. The hymn “It is Well With my Soul” was played by Darren Avery. The service concluded with the songs “Amazing Grace” and “My Chains are Gone.” During the committal service, guitarist Darren Avery sang “I can only Imagine” with Grace’s young friends and relatives blowing tribute bubbles to the sky in honor of Grace’s life.
Pallbearers were Tim Kelly, Doug and Anthony Jackson, Kenneth Albert, Scott Moody and Leon White. Following committal prayers, a reception of fellowship was then held back at East Auburn Baptist Church Hall.
