No Sunday service

PHILLIPS – There will be no services at the Phillips Shared Ministry on Sunday, June 22. Instead, all those interested are invited to worship at the UCC Maine Conference community worship service at Old South Congregational Church, Farmington, at 10:30 a.m. Those wishing to carpool may call Pat Matulaitis at 639-3786. Services at the Shared Ministry will resume at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 29.

Book sale set

NEW SHARON – A bargain book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Jim Ditzler Memorial Library. Paperback books will be 25 cents each or $3 a bag. Hardcover books will be 50 cents each or $6 a bag.

Craft and decorating magazines will be 12 for a $1. Proceeds will be used to benefit the library programs.
