LIVERMORE – Many golf courses in Maine go an entire season without a hole-in-one. Maple Lane Golf Course produced two in the space of about an hour Thursday.

Roger Parlin and Danny Finley each registered their first ace. Parlin plucked his gem on the 140-yard, par-3 fifth hole. Bob and Neal Donahue were his playing partners.

Finley was next, sinking his drive to the 158-yard, par-3 sixth while Earl Rowe and Luis Chicoine looked on.
