AUBURN – Casey Jones Stanley, 26, of Lewiston, formerly of Freeport, died tragically on June 11, in Auburn.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1981, in Brunswick, a son of Vicki (Harris) and Donald Stanley. He was educated in Freeport schools.

Casey enjoyed playing basketball, music, animals and motorcycles. Casey also enjoyed working and was always proud and excited about any new job. For Casey, any job was a good job. What Casey enjoyed most was time spent with his fiancée, Erica, and his family. Be it playing video games with his brother Patrick or just playing with his younger sister, Jessica, life for Casey was all about family and friends. He was generous, thoughtful of others, always had a smile and readily made people laugh. For these and so many other reasons he will be greatly missed.

Casey is survived by his father, Donald Stanley Sr. of Bowdoinham; his mother, Vicki Stanley and her fiancé, James Oliveira, of Freeport; his sister, Jessica Laliberte of Auburn; his brother, Donald Stanley Jr. and his companion, Kim Gauthier, of Lewiston; his brother, Harley Stanley and his companion, Jean Crone, of Bowdoinham; his brother, Patrick Stanley of Bowdoinham; his sister, Jessica Stanley of Bowdoinham; the love of his life and fiancée, Erica Griffin, of Lewiston; and his grandfather “Pup.”

Casey is also survived and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
