DIXFIELD – Funeral services for Frances Blood were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7, at Dixfield Congregational Church. The Rev. John Gensel officiated. Alice Ashworth was the organist. Music selections were “In The Garden” and “Old Rugged Cross.” At the beginning of the service, the Dixfield Legion offered prayers. A poem, “Gram,” was read by Nicole Irish and Heath Blood. A poem, “I’m Free,” was read by Libby Kilbreth. Pallbearers were Harvey Blood, Harold Blood, Heath Blood, Thomas Davenport, David Davenport and Jason Irish.

Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Dixfield. A reception followed in the parish hall. Arrangements were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford, ME 04276.
