Under the sponsorship of the Dominican Sisters, flea markets are being held in two locations every Friday and Saturday until Aug. 30 – a rain-or-shine event at 61 Lisbon Road, Sabattus, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the other, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the former Daddy’s Diner, 762 Sabattus Road, Route 126, Sabattus. Donations of small items will be accepted at the 61 Lisbon Road location during the flea market and larger articles or furniture can be dropped off at the Sabattus Road location by calling Ellie at 577-9364. Proceeds will benefit Loaves and Fishes. For more information, call Sister Lucille at 375-8399. Lorraine and René Gosselin help sort articles for upcoming flea markets.
