Society to meet

MEXICO – The Mexico Historical Society will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at starting with a potluck supper at the Calvin Lyons meeting room at Mexico Town Hall.

Speaker will be Atty. Paul Dumas. Members will also hear reports on the finishing of repairs from the water damage and will discuss plans for the memorial for the “Don,” The plaque and the rock on which it will be displayed are in.

Equine demo day

ANDOVER – The Ellis River Riders Horse Club will host an equine demo day starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5. Spectators are welcome and admission is free.

There will be demonstrations of breeds including Paso Fino, Dartmoor Pony and Appaloosa.

On Sunday, July 6, there will be an all-games horse show starting at 9 a.m. There is always food and seating and the day is free.

MEXICO – Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Far East.
