RANGELEY – Orgonon, the Wilhelm Reich Museum, will open for the season on Wednesday, July 2.

Located on Dodge Pond Road, Orgonon is the former home of Austrian born physician-scientist Wilhelm Reich (1897-1857).

The observatory is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors to the stone building will see a biographical video about Reich and tour the building and view Reich’s scientific inventions and equipment, which include an orgone energy accumulator and a cloudbuster.

The observatory is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday in July and August;: and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in September. For more information, call 864-3443, e-mail [email protected].
