LEWISTON – Nancy L. Marden, first born child of Mickey and Catherine (Moses) Marden, died unexpectedly early Wednesday, June 18, from complications from Lupus.

She was born June 30, 1950, and graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1972 with a degree in home economics.

She was an accomplished seamstress and worked in the family business, Marden’s. At Marden’s, she was in charge of the fabric and took great pride in her work and the number of yards of fabric she handled.

She was a dedicated, loyal, incredibly kind hearted and thoughtful person.

Survivors include her very sad family as well as her companion, Rick Taylor of Lewiston; her mother, Catherine M. Marden of Albion; one sister, Martha Hutchins and her husband, Brent, of Albion; three brothers, Ham Marden and his wife, Lois, of Lewiston, John Marden and his wife, Jane, of Belgrade and David Marden and his wife, Sigrid, of Bangor; and nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
