OTISFIELD – Voters will elect town officials and act on several ordinances at the annual town meeting this Saturday.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Otisfield Community School.

Voters will choose one selectman and a SAD 17 director for three-year terms as well as a road commissioner for a one-year term. A vote will also be taken to determine the chairman of the board of selectmen for the ensuing year.

Voters will also decide whether they should amend the site plan and building ordinances and whether an emergency management ordinance and definitions for the ordinance should be enacted.

The selectmen and finance committee agree on budget recommendations, which include $506,500 for public works, $248,081 for general government and $134,120 for public safety.
