FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Steve Ralston’s goal in the 79th minute helped the New England Revolution salvage a 1-1 tie with the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night.
It was the second 1-all tie the teams played this season, with the match in New York.
New York captain Seth Stammler scored his first goal in three seasons in the 37th minute to put the Red Bulls (4-4-4) ahead. He converted a long cross from the left wing from Dave VanDenBergh.
The Revolution (8-3-3) earned a point at home when Ralston scored his third goal in as many matches.

The Eastern Conference-leading Revolution extended their unbeaten streak to seven matches (5-0-2) and their unbeaten streak against New York to 10 matches (6-0-4).
