Cambodian dancer Rebecca Sen will be accompanied by her father Pirun Sen, at back, in one of several ethnic dance performances as part of World Refugee Day Maine 2008 Friday, June 20, in Kennedy Park. The free public event, which begins at 3 p.m. at the Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall and moves across the street to the city park at 4:30, also showcases dance and music traditions from Somalia, Sudan and Rwanda, a display of henna art and ethnic foods native to Ethiopia, Ghana, Cambodia and Somalia.
