WORCESTER, Mass. – Carroll C. Parker, 93, died June 4, in the Christopher House, after a long illness.

He was born in Norway, March 25, 1915, son of Elmer and Bessie (Brown) Parker. He graduated from the University of Maine, and worked for many years at U.S. Rubber, then at Curtis and Marble Machine in Worcester, as well as starting his home business, Amicus Emptoris in Shrewsbury.

He served with the U.S. Air Corps in the South Pacific during World II, where he climbed to the rank of captain. He was a long-time active member of the First Baptist Church.

He leaves his wife of 67 years, Ella (McCollum) Parker; a daughter, Charity Parker Rinker and her husband, Mark, of Ringoes, N.J.; a brother, Richard Parker and a sister, Edith Savage, both of Maine; and many nephews and nieces.
