Lewiston practice honored for immunization efforts

LEWISTON – Campus Avenue Family Practice in Lewiston was honored by the Maine Immunization Program for efforts to ensure children ages 2 and younger are up to date on their shots. The practice, which serves thousands of people, was recognized for increasing the immunization coverage level by 44 percent, that’s the largest increase of any practice in the state. The practice was honored during a ceremony in Augusta last month.
