LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a break-in at Chretien and Sons Greenhouses on Route 133 where an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

The money was reported missing Saturday from the cash register, he said.

The forced entry took place after 5:30 p.m. Friday and before the time it was reported at 8:30 a.m., Steward said.

Officer Cort Hladik is investigating and evidence collected is being processed at a Maine State Criminal Lab, the chief said.
