BIDDEFORD – Carole Anne Kingsbury, 64, of Biddeford, died Tuesday, June 23, at the Southern Maine Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Farmington, May 4, 1944, the daughter of Francis and Frances (Dakin) McFee. She graduated from Dixfield schools.

On June 16, 1962, she married Edward D. Kingsbury Sr. in Dixfield. He died on Aug. 21, 2004.

After her husband’s retirement to Biddeford from the military in 1983, she worked in Old Orchard Beach with code enforcement and on the planning board, where she enjoyed working and her friendships with her co-workers.

She enjoyed computers and was able to create beautiful movies from still pictures set to music and background. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and drives with her family.

She is survived by her mother, Frances Dakin of Biddeford; sons, Edward “Butch” Kingsbury Jr. and his wife, Kellie, of Knoxville, Tenn., Stephen Michael Kingsbury of York and Daniel Francis Kingsbury and his wife, Nancy, of York; five grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Hannah, Nick and Kyser; brothers, Ronald Dakin and his wife, Norma, of Missouri, and Bobby Dakin of Biddeford.

She was predeceased by her father, Francis Dakin; and an infant sister.
