LEWISTON – Jane M. Thibodeau, 63, of Peru, died Sunday, June 22, at the Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Rumford, on Aug. 21, 1944, the daughter of Austin and Ruth McCullough (Harkness). She attended Rumford schools.

She worked at Bass Shoe in Wilton and Davidson of Dundee, Fla.

She was a former member of the Eagles Club in Rumford and enjoyed collecting dolls and knitting and crocheting doll clothing. She also enjoyed time spent at her camp in Eustis.

She is survived by her companion, Norman Hanson of Peru; children, John Bernard of Rumford, Shawn Gourde and his companion, Lisa Marentette, of Michigan, and Belinda Briere and her husband, Michael, of Rumford; siblings, Timothy Harkness of Carthage, Jeff Kennedy of Florida, and Gary Kennedy and wife, Miriam, of Florida; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents; two children, Dorrinda Bernard and Rebecca Jordan; two sisters; and a brother, James McCollough.
