LOWELL, Mass. – Mary Ann Brown, 66, of Lowell, Mass., died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 22.

She was born in Portland, on March 5, 1942. She grew up and was educated along the seacoast and loved living in northern New England.

She enjoyed the outdoors, especially horseback riding. She played bingo and video games and loved her cat, “Rags.” She was a loving and caring mother and will be missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Berounsky of Kittery and Hilda Morrison of Portsmouth, N.H.; two sons, Richard Brown of Norway and Timmy Brown of Norway; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Fairbanks of Salem, N.H.

She was predeceased by her husband, Barney C. Brown.
