DUBLIN, N.H. (AP) – The police chief in Hancock, New Hampshire, says he’ll ask that two teens who were Tasered at an underage drinking party during the weekend be charged with assaulting an officer.

A Hancock sergeant zapped two teenagers as officers took three dozen partygoers into protective custody and arrested six others in Dublin early Saturday.

Dublin police asked for help from surrounding communities after being called to a home to investigate a noise complaint.

The Hancock sergeant reported he Tasered two teens when they refused to get out of a pickup parked outside the house and tried to grab him.

Hancock Police Chief Steven Baldwin said the teens stepped out of the pickup after they were stunned. They were not arrested, but he says he wants them charged with simple assault.
