Seventeen Minot Girl Scouts gathered with Troop Leader Tina Lovejoy in May to learn horse management and riding skills. Six hours was spent on grooming, barn and horse management, horse bathing, proper equipment for horse and rider and a beginner’s riding lessons. The event was held at the stables of Home Pet Care Sitting and Doggie Daycare in Auburn. There were snacks and bobbing for apples. Instructors were Ann and Amber Durgin.
