FARMINGTON – An open house to celebrate the nearly completed Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, located behind Franklin Memorial Hospital, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 29.

Hosted by the hospital auxiliary, plans include live music, children’s activities, horse drawn wagon rides, blood pressure checks and more.

Within the new 58,000 square foot building, Franklin Health care providers for pediatrics, women’s care, orthopedics, general surgery and urology will be located, as well as the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center.

Some hospital departments will also be moved into the lower floor of the building.

The center, after an 18-month construction period, will provide easier access to diagnostic services at Franklin Memorial Hospital, including radiology and lab services.

To reach the new building, take the same entrance as Franklin Memorial Hospital, then an immediate left. Follow the road approximately a quarter mile to the building’s main entrance.
