SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Brian J. Robinson of Poland, a senior in the fall at Bryant University, was chosen as one of 40 members of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership and honor society, to attend the CLT 2TM Program: Campus Leaders Today; Community Leaders Tomorrow.

The all-expense paid trip was held June 10 to 13 at the Washington Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Omicron Delta Kappa’s Signature Program is designed to prepare young members for service on nonprofit boards and show how nonprofits contribute to healthy societies, and how to prepare for volunteer service on a nonprofit board as a way to give back to the community.

Robinson is a resident assistant and a student ambassador at Bryant. In addition to serving as treasurer of the Finance Association and the Society for Human Resource Management, he also took part in the CSI’S Student Advancing in Leadership (SAIL) and Students taking Action in Role (STAR) programs.

He is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Auburn, and is the son of Stephen and Louise Robinson of Poland and grandson of Gerry and Lynn Robinson of Otisfield and Albert and Lucille Carrier of Auburn.

Robinson works summers and school vacations as a floating-teller at several North East Bank locations.
