GREENE – The wedding of Angela Marie Rice and Joshua Lawrence Erskine was held at 1 p.m., April 19, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Greene. The Rev. Robert Parent officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Erskine is the daughter of Mary Doyle of Auburn. Mr. Erskine is the son of Bryan and Diane Erskine of Greene.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a white strapless gown with beads and sequins, and the bodice was criss-crossed with lace and the skirt was gathered with beads and sequins. A crystal tiara supported her shoulder and floor length veil and she carried a bouquet of white roses.

A friend of the bride, Tara Williams, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Wright, friend of the bride, and Amanda Holt, cousin of the bridegroom. Destinee White, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Jared Erskine performed the duties of best man for his brother. Usher was Andrew Vachon, friend of the bridegroom. Donald White, son of the bride, was ring bearer. Justin Erskine, brother of the bridegroom, was not able to attend because he is serving in the U.S. Army.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Punta Cuna in the Dominican Republic. They are residing in Leeds.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is manager at a Burger King.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner and attended Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N.H. He is an independent musician.
