Twin city mayors John Jenkins, left, of Auburn and Larry Gilbert of Lewiston get a feel for riding the bus prior to a press conference on Free Fare Fridays. July 11 through Aug 29 public transportation users will be able to ride the bus for free on Fridays in an effort to help citizens deal with the soaring gas prices and encourage the public to use the bus system and leave their cars at home.
