WEST PARIS – A 46-year-old West Paris man already facing felony drug charges in Oxford County Superior Court was arrested on other charges Saturday.
Michael Wayne Holden of Bog Brook Loop was charged with violation of conditions of release, falsifying physical evidence, and marijuana cultivation. He also faces charges of trafficking cocaine, marijuana and heroin from a 2006 arrest.
Trooper Kyle Tilsley of the Maine State Police stated in an affidavit that he observed Holden with an unlabeled prescription bottle at the Mallard Mart in West Paris and conducted a traffic stop on him. Tilsley said the bottle contained pills Holden identified as methadone and a straw. Holden said he had a prescription for the pills at his residence.
Tilsley states that a search at Holden’s residence turned up three marijuana plants.
Holden’s bail was set at $500 cash or $10,000 surety after his initial appearance in court on Monday. He had been released from the Oxford County Jail by Tuesday afternoon.
