WEST PARIS – Tessie M. Blaisdell, 91, of West Paris, died June 30 at West Paris.

She was born on Sept. 5, 1916, at Prince Edward Island, Canada, the daughter of Charles and Maryanne Arsenault. She came to America at the age of 10 and was educated in Rumford schools. She married Paul Blaisdell Sr. on Sept. 10, 1934, and had been a housewife all of her life. He died in November 1967. She was an avid card player and was a mother to all, always there whenever needed.

She is survived by three sons, Paul “Glen” Blaisdell Jr. of Haines City, Fla., Richard Blaisdell of Cape Coral, Fla., and Tim Blaisdell of Lawrence, Mass.; one sister, Clara Menard of Lowell, Mass.; 28 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband; and two daughters, Joanne Powell and Patricia McMillan.
