TURNER – Danny P. McDougold, 58, died Sunday, June 29, at his residence.

He was born in Farmington, Sept. 25, 1949, the son of Robert Plessis Sr. and Lorraine Fiel.

He attended Farmington schools, and then joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. After the service, he graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in chemical engineering and furthered his education at the university becoming a nuclear engineer working at Maine Yankee for many years.

Survivors include his father, Robert Plessis Sr. of Turner; his mother, Lorraine Rackliff of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Jennifer McDougold of Bath and Danielle Perry and her husband, Joseph, of Surry; two brothers, Rick McDougold of Windham and Robert Plessis Jr. of Turner; one sister, Beverly Ferrari and her husband, Mark, of Oviedo, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one daughter, Amy Doray, on July 4, 2006.
