Women, overall: 1. Mallory Jacob 27:58, 2. Jessica Swan 28:59.

Boys, age 5-9: 1. Colby Parent 29:50.

Boys, 10-14: 1. Jordan Parent 27:49.

Men, 15-19: 1. Steve Legge Jr. 20:49.

Men, 20-29: 1. Joshua Burke 19:54.

Men, 40-49: 1. Bill Nicols 20:03, 2. Steve Day 20:51, 3. Ed Dawson 23:52, 4. Jim Deronhe 25:57.

Men, 50-59: 1. Jeff Arsenault 21:15, 2. Tim Theriault 26:28, 3. Steve LaPointe 28:06.

Women, 15-19: 1. Mallory Jacob 27:58.

Women, 30-39: 1. Jessica Swan 28:59.

Winners from the 2007 River Valley 5K Challenge Series also were honored at the Rotary awards ceremony. Each recipient ran at least two of last year’s three events The Rotary River Valley Road Race; the Dixfield Bicentennial Road Race; and the Black Mountain of Maine Road Race.

Last year’s overall top three for women were Debbie Moreau, Natasha Leighton and Hannah LaPointe. Overall men’s winners were Wendell Blood, Bill Nicols and Steve Day. Other age group winners were Adam Mahar, Candace Dane-Legge, Jared Arsenault and Jeff Arsenault.

The Challenge Series has expanded this year to include the Andover Old Home Days Road Race. A modified scoring system will be used to determine the winners.
