Potluck supper

HARTFORD – The Hartford community goodwill potluck supper will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4, at the Hartford Town Hall.

There will be open grills for cooking, salads and strawberry shortcake for dessert. A special belly dance performance will be presented by Indigo.

The supper is free to the public. Donations will be accepted.

Horsemen to meet

PARIS – The Western Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 7, at the Haskell House, the building next to the First Congregational Church, 17 Main St.

Swim openings

NORWAY – There are a few spots available to fill in the swim program, which will be held from Tuesday, July 8, to Friday, July 25. The 30-minute classes will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.

Three different level classes will be in the water each half hour. Parents and/or guardians must stay at the beach while their child is there. Norway resident fees are $20 a child for the first two children, $10 for each additional child; non-residents $40 a child. Fee must accompany registration to secure a spot.
