MEXICO – Funeral services for D. Leonard Lindberg of Mexico, were conducted Thursday at the Mexico First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Peters officiating.
Organist was Donald Haines. Music selections included “How Great Thou Art” and “He Lives.” Special music included “Amazing Grace” sung by Lynnette Carver and “The Lord’s Prayer” by Timothy and Nicholas Blodgett on the organ and piano.
Prayers were given by the Rev. Glenn Carver and the Rev. Lawrence Shaw. Words of remembrance were given by son Bruce Lindberg, son-in-law, Mike Lepage, granddaughter Hope High and a letter from Aunt Marion Boy was read by Debbie Mayo. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Peters and the Rev. John Hosey.
Interment was at the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico. Pallbearers were grandchildren Seth Fournier, Eric and Lauren Lepage, Devin and Melissa Mayo, David Lindberg and Hope High. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall of the Mexico First Baptist Church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
