FARMINGTON – The Farmington All Stars will compete in their first state tournament game Saturday at the Mini-Fenway Park in Oakland.

A season of no losses for the 12 players, all age 10 and under, brings them to the 5 p.m. game, said Kendall Farrington, father of a player.

Coached by Ron Bartlett, the team includes Cal Ripken Little League all star members from Farmington, Chesterville, Temple, New Sharon, and Fairbanks.

After competing with area teams, they start the tournament with a 3-0 record, he said. “They have played really well,” he added.

Members of the team include his son, Kyle Farrington, Moses Clark, Colton Lawrence, Ryan Pratt, Peyton Smith, Tye Nichols, Liam Welch, Nathaniel Everett, Taylor France, Paul Hincley, Kyle Tracy and Justin Evans.
