AUBURN – A memorial gathering and service honoring the life of Danny McDougold was held Saturday afternoon from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son.

Words of remembrance were shared by Danny’s daughter, Jennifer, in tribute to her father. Following a reading of the 23rd Psalm, the United States honor detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Danny’s daughter, Jennifer, in recognition of her father’s service to his country during the Vietnam conflict.

Burial will be private at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, Auburn.
