AUBURN – Memorial services honoring the life of Ronald R. Smith, Sr., were held Saturday afternoon from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Marius Glebocki presiding. During the service, Ron’s daughter, Janice Gagne, recited a reading titled “A Letter to My Dad,” followed by the song “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Ron’s son-in-law, Jean Dupuis, read a prayer to Ron, then shared words of remembrance about him.

Ron’s daughter, Barbara Dupuis, shared her family’s appreciation and gave thanks to those in attendance. The United States Military Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Ron’s daughter, Judy Smith, for services rendered by her father to his country. Services then concluded with the Smith family receiving personal condolences from those in attendance.

Burial will be private at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. A reception of fellowship then followed at the VFW Hall in Greene. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center, Auburn.
