OXFORD – John A. King, 73, of Oxford, passed away peacefully with his family at his side following a sudden illness on July 7.
Born in Somerville, Mass., on March 14, 1935, he was the son of William and Elizabeth (Gaudette) King.
He leaves his devoted wife, Ann, after 45 years of marriage; two daughters, JoAnn Smith and her husband, Davy, of Oxford and Jennifer Field and her husband, Scott, of Merrimack, N.H.; seven grandchildren, Jairus, Sarah, Noah, Micah and Hannah of Oxford and Timothy and Amanda Field of Merrimack, N.H.; three brothers, James King of Florida and William and Lloyd King of Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond, of New Mexico.
He was a very hard worker, enjoyed his gardens and yardwork and loved his two dogs, Lucy and Ladybug. He will be missed at the daily “Governors Meeting” at Wal-Mart and by all who loved him.
