The Arundel Barn Playhouse will present “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical July 15 through Aug. 2. It’s 1925, the age of razzmatazz, frisky flappers and bathtub gin when the rules of love and society changed forever in America as “moderns” bob their hair, shorten their skirts and invade the workplace. Modern Millie, who outwits a dragon-lady villainess, proves that a little thing like love is never out of style. Performances are at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with one 2 p.m. matinee Friday, July 25, and one 8 p.m. show Sunday, July 20. Cast members, from left, top row, are Katharine McEnery and Monica Willey; bottom row: Katie Mulholland, Rebecca Cesario and Bethany Wagner.
