GREENVILLE (AP) – If you want to weigh in on Plum Creek Timber Co.’s Moose-head Lake development plan, it’s time to put pencil to paper.
Friday is the deadline for the public to submit comments on the project that includes 975 house lots, two large resorts and protection of 430,000 acres in the northern Maine region.
The Seattle-based corporation’s plan for what would become one of Maine’s largest development projects awaits a decision from the Land Use Regulation Commission.
LURC is accepting comments until 4 p.m. Friday on a long list of amendments the agency says would be necessary in order to approve the application.
