RUMFORD – David St. Cyr of Spruce Street, Rumford, died Tuesday, July 8, at the Rumford Hospital.
He was born in Rumford, on April 15, 1930, a son of Frank and Dorcas (Glover) St. Cyr and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford.
For many years, he worked as an electrician for G.S.I. in Washington, D.C., until retirement. He was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. He was married on April 5, 1957, to the Mary Willice Samuels.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Hampton and husband, Mike, of Silver Springs, Md., Debra St. Cyr of Laurel, Md., and Patsy Ann Haney and husband, John, of Hampton, Va.; sons, Edward St. Cyr Jr. of Laurel, Md., and James St. Cyr of Silver Springs, Md.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Francis “Frank” St. Cyr of Rumford and James St. Cyr of Washington, D.C.
