BRADENTON, Fla. – Helen Elizabeth “Liz” Geiger, 65, died April 30, in Bradenton, Fla.

She was born June 30, 1942, a daughter of Theodore and Doris (Ripley) Geiger.

She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1960. She received her bachelor of arts degree at Boston University, and her master’s degree at the University of Connecticut.

Liz was a teacher, writer, actor and social worker. She traveled the world making friends and always trying to help.

Survivors include her brother, Charles Geiger and his wife, Cathryne, of Palmetto, Fla.
