AUBURN – Funeral services celebrating the life of Kenneth Merrow were held Friday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with the Rev. Ray Richard presiding. During the service a poem given by Ken’s daughter, Lynda Dodge was read by the Rev. Richard. Songs sung during the services were “Amazing Grace,” “In the Garden” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” Words of remembrance were shared by Ken’s grandson, Stephen Merrow. Then all were invited to greet Ken’s family with a personal condolence before forming a funeral procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery. After committal prayers the U.S. Army Honor Detail played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Ken’s wife Helen in recognition of her husband’s service to his country during World War II. Then all were invited to a reception of fellowship at DaVinci’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Pallbearers were Aric and Stephen Merrow, John Deringis, Joe Varuole, Bob Collier and Ed Nichols.
