FARMINGTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Darcy Steele of Farmington and Andrew Bean of Rumford.

Miss Steele is the daughter of Larry and Sherry Steele of California. She served in the U.S. Air Force and is currently seeking a business degree.

Mr. Bean is the son of the late Ethel M. Bean and Frank G. Bean of Rumford. He is a 1981 graduate of Rumford High School and attended Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute for a degree in welding technology. He also attended Biblical counseling at Freedlandia Bible Institute. He has been employed at Hancock Lumber for 10 years.
