FRYEBURG – The International Musical Arts Institute invites all those who are curious to learn more about what goes into making music at IMAI to its Monday evenings of “Music in the Making…” Listen in on a rehearsal, a master class, a discussion or whatever may be happening at the Bion Cram Library at Fryeburg Academy beginning at 7:30 p.m.
July 14 will feature a lecture/discussion by renowned violin maker Douglas Cox on the string quartet from an “instrumental point of view” – and specific characteristics of these instruments as they related to each other as a string quartet.
Admission is free. “Music-in the Making” continues July 21 and 28. For more information, call 935-1494 or just stop by and listen a while.
