The editorial of July 10 was inaccurate and out of line.

Chief Phil Crowell discussed the Auburn Police Department’s multifaceted approach to the problem during a workshop at Moulton Park, which included the compassionate education piece and referrals to social service/substance abuse resources that were suggested in the editorial.
